Big things have been happening here at Fresh Salon. Gretchen Hicks and Karalee Paraon, after several years of owning Fresh Salon, have decided to pass on the torch! Veteran hairstylist Taylor McKay has purchased the salon, as well as purchased Salon Capelli with the intent of merging both salons to form a new and "fresh" salon currently being branded as Rooted Valley Hair Company. Rooted Valley is home to a thoughtfully curated boutique featuring over 20 local artisans — handmade jewelry, small-batch skincare, herbal botanicals, rooted plant starts and one-of-a-kind pieces you simply won't find anywhere else. When you shop the boutique at Rooted Valley, you're supporting real people and real craft. Everything is handmade, small-batch, or independently created — and available in-store at 644 & 646 Main Street.
