It’s starting to feel real. 💙
Lately, I’ve found myself nesting in every part of life—not just at home, but here in the studio too. Restocking shelves, organizing products, cleaning drawers, and getting everything in its place before I step away to welcome our baby boy.
As excited as I am, I’d be lying if I said these last few weeks haven’t been hard. My days are getting shorter, my feet are swelling, and by the end of a full day behind the chair, my back is definitely reminding me that it’s almost time. 🤍
If you have an appointment on my books, I can’t wait to see you. But if life comes up and you need to cancel, there’s a good chance I won’t have another opening before maternity leave—which means I may not see you again until the holidays.
It’s bittersweet.
This little studio has been my second home for the last year, but I’m so ready to trade my styling chair for newborn cuddles, slow mornings, and soaking in every moment with our baby boy. I can’t wait for this next chapter and to spend time as a family of three.
Thank you for supporting my business, encouraging me throughout this pregnancy, and giving me the opportunity to step away for a little while. I’ll miss seeing you all, but I have a feeling this season is going to be one I’ll treasure forever. 💙

✨ From “I’m ready for a change” to a blonde that feels like you ✨
There’s something so special about a first appointment with a new client. It’s not just about changing your hair — it’s about building trust, understanding your vision, and creating a color that makes you feel confident when you look in the mirror.
This transformation took 4 hours because creating a brand-new color from head to toe takes time, patience, and intention. The first appointment is always the longest (and the biggest investment) because we’re laying the foundation for your dream hair — creating dimension, removing old tones, and customizing every detail to fit you.
The best part?
This is only the beginning. 🤍
With the right maintenance plan, we can continue to build on this beautiful foundation and keep your hair looking effortless, healthy, and fresh.
Thank you for trusting me with such a big transformation.
These are the moments I love most behind the chair. 💙

The beautiful thing about bridal hair isn’t just creating something that photographs well—it’s creating something that lasts.
This bride and I met for the very first time on her wedding morning. ❤️ She lives out of state while she’s in school, so there was no trial, no practice run... just trust.
And as if that wasn’t enough, Palisade decided to give us one of the windiest days of the summer as wildfire smoke blew in from the Snyder Fire. 🌬️
Every pin had a purpose. Every section was secured with intention. Every layer of hairspray was there so she could hug, dance, celebrate, and stand outside with confidence knowing her hair wasn’t going anywhere.
One of my favorite parts of wedding mornings is earning a bride’s trust in just a few hours—and watching her see the finished look for the first time.
That’s what makes this job so special. 🤍

Why do we seek out specialists?
If you needed knee surgery, you wouldn’t look for a general physician—you’d look for an orthopedic surgeon who performs that procedure every single day.
If you needed braces, you’d see an orthodontist instead of your family dentist.
In nearly every profession, specialists exist because they’ve dedicated their time, education, and experience to mastering one specific area.
The hair industry is no different.
Yes, every licensed hairstylist learns the fundamentals. But a specialist chooses to go deeper. They invest in advanced education, spend years refining specific techniques, and perform those services over and over until they become second nature.
For me, that’s blonde hair.
Creating a beautiful blonde isn’t just about making hair lighter. It’s understanding color theory, hair health, formulation, placement, and knowing exactly how to create a result that’s customized to you while protecting the integrity of your hair.
When you choose a blonde specialist, you’re choosing someone who has intentionally built their career around mastering that craft.
The same goes for bridal styling or precision haircutting. Specialists don’t just offer those services—they’ve committed themselves to becoming exceptionally good at them.
You’re not simply paying for the appointment on your calendar.
You’re investing in years of education, experience, problem-solving, and a professional who has chosen to master one craft instead of trying to do a little bit of everything.
Because when it comes to something you wear every single day—your hair—experience matters. ✨

Luxury isn’t always about marble countertops or champagne.
Sometimes it’s the peace and quiet.
The privacy.
The feeling of walking into a space where nothing is rushed and your appointment is all about you.
That’s exactly why I love calling this studio home. ✨

Being a part of a bride’s special day is truly an honor!
Getting to create magic with hair while witnessing the love and joy shared by her family and friends is an unforgettable experience. ❤️
From laughter to happy tears, these moments become cherished memories that make my job even more meaningful.
Thank you for trusting me to be a part of your journey, and here’s to beautiful transformations and everlasting connections!

A fresh chop for summer? Yes, please. ☀️✂️
One of my favorite ways to make blonde hair feel healthy again is by taking off those dry, tired ends. It doesn’t have to be a dramatic cut—even a few inches can completely transform how your hair looks and feels.
Living here in Grand Junction, our hair goes through a lot. The dry desert air, intense sun, heat, and even wildfire smoke can leave blonde hair feeling dehydrated, dull, and more prone to breakage. That’s why summer is one of my favorite times to freshen up your cut and focus on keeping your blonde healthy.
A few things I always recommend:
• Stay on top of your trims so split ends don’t continue traveling up the hair.
• Invest in quality products that hydrate and protect your hair from our harsh climate.
• Don’t skip your leave-in conditioner—it makes a huge difference with moisture and heat protection.
• Keep up with your gloss appointments to maintain shine and keep unwanted warmth away.
Beautiful blonde hair isn’t just about the color you leave the salon with—it’s about how you care for it between appointments.
Healthy hair will always be in style, and sometimes the best thing you can do is let go of a little length to gain a whole lot of softness, shine, and movement. 🤍
Who’s ready for a summer refresh?

✨ From brassy to beautifully balanced—in just one appointment. ✨
This transformation didn’t happen by chance. It started with a consultation before we ever mixed a color bowl.
Color corrections deserve a plan, not guesswork.
During our consultation, we analyzed her hair history, discussed her goals, talked through what was realistically achievable, and created a customized game plan that prioritized one thing above all else: the integrity of her hair.
Our goal was to lift through the unwanted orange and yellow while protecting the health of every strand. Instead of chasing the lightest blonde possible at any cost, I worked strategically to remove as much warmth as the hair would safely allow, creating a clean, soft platinum blonde with beautiful dimension and shine.
And while the color was the star of the day, we didn’t stop there.
We also reshaped her bob, removing the heavy, uneven growth and giving it a softer, more modern silhouette that will continue to grow out beautifully between appointments.
This is why I believe the consultation is just as important as the appointment itself. The best transformations happen when there’s a thoughtful plan, realistic expectations, and a commitment to healthy hair.
Healthy hair will always outshine compromised hair. 🤍
If you’ve left a salon feeling your hair is “too orange,” “too yellow,” or “too damaged” to achieve your dream blonde, don’t lose hope.
Sometimes it just takes the right strategy, the right products, and a stylist who’s willing to create a customized roadmap instead of rushing the process.
📍Serving blondes on Colorado’s Western Slope in my private Grand Junction studio.

Living on the Western Slope is one of the best places in Colorado... but let’s be honest—our hair takes a beating.
☀️ Intense UV exposure.
💨 Dry desert air.
🏜️ Single-digit humidity.
💦 Hard water.
🚴 Time spent hiking, biking, boating, and soaking up every bit of sunshine.
All of these things slowly strip moisture from your hair, fade your color, create frizz, and leave your ends feeling dry long before your next appointment.
That’s exactly why I chose to carry Davines.
Davines isn’t just luxury haircare—it delivers targeted, professional formulas that help your hair withstand everything our Colorado climate throws at it.
Whether it’s restoring moisture after weeks in the desert sun, protecting your blonde from environmental stress, gently cleansing away hard water buildup, or repairing damage from heat and color services, every product has a purpose.
As a stylist, I can create a beautiful color in the salon...
But what happens during the other 6-10 weeks between appointments is just as important.
The products you use at home determine how long your color stays vibrant, how healthy your ends feel, how shiny your hair looks, and whether your investment lasts until I see you again.
One of my favorite things about Davines is that it’s never about selling you more products—it’s about recommending the right ones for your hair. A customized routine will always outperform a shelf full of random products that weren’t made for your hair type or our climate.
Beautiful hair isn’t created every 8 weeks.
It’s built through small, intentional habits every single day.
If you’re tired of fighting dry ends, faded blonde, frizz, or hair that just never feels healthy, let’s build a routine that actually works for life here in Grand Junction. Your hair deserves products that work as hard as you do. 🤍

Living in the desert has its perks... but your blonde hair definitely feels the effects. ☀️🌵
Between triple-digit temperatures, dry air, relentless UV exposure, and now weeks of wildfire smoke, your hair is working overtime just to stay healthy.
If your blonde has been feeling dry, dull, tangled, or brittle lately, you’re not imagining it.
The combination of heat, smoke, and our Western Slope climate can strip moisture from your hair, fade your toner faster, and leave your ends feeling rough.
Here are a few ways to protect your blonde this summer:
✨ Wear a hat whenever you’re outside for long periods.
✨ Use professional products that add moisture and UV protection.
✨ Don’t skip your leave-in conditioner—it’s one of the easiest ways to defend your hair from our harsh climate.
✨ Schedule regular glosses to refresh your tone and add shine between lightening appointments.
✨ Deep condition weekly to replenish the moisture our desert air constantly steals.
Beautiful blonde hair isn’t just about what happens in the salon—it’s about giving your hair the support it needs between visits.
If you’ve been wondering why your hair feels different lately, the environment is playing a bigger role than you think.
The good news?
With the right maintenance plan, your blonde can stay healthy, soft, and bright all summer long.
Save this post for your next hair day, and if you’re ready for a personalized blonde maintenance routine, I’d love to help. 🤍
