Ok ya'll ....I didnt do the best job of taking pictures in the same lighting but hopefully you get the jist. If you're pondering permanent makeup, powder brows or another cosmetic tattoo, healing is a bit of a roller coaster. Here's what most people can expect:

Days 1 to 3
Brows look darker and bolder than the final result, sometimes 30% to 50% darker. There may be mild redness, tenderness, or slight swelling.

Days 4 to 7
The skin starts to dry and flake.
Itching is common.
Resist the urge to pick or scratch. Let the flakes come off on their own.

Days 8 to 14
The brows may suddenly look much lighter or even seem like the pigment disappeared. This is often called the "ghosting" phase and is a normal part of healing.

Weeks 3 to 6
The color gradually returns as the skin finishes healing.
The brows soften into a more natural shade.
Any uneven areas become easier to evaluate.

Around 6 to 8 weeks
The skin is generally healed enough for a perfecting (touch-up) appointment, where any areas that healed lighter can be adjusted.

During healing:

💎Keep the brows clean and follow after care instructions!

💯AVOID PICKING OR PEELING SCAB!!!!

🚫Stay out of pools, hot tubs, saunas, and excessive sweating if instructed by your artist.

⛔️Avoid direct sun exposure and don't apply makeup to the brows until they're healed.
