Sunday Night Exhale

Summer always seems to take its time getting here, and then suddenly the evenings grow cooler and the sun begins setting a little earlier. Before we rush into fall, maybe tonight we can sit outside a little longer, sip a warm cup of tea and enjoy what is still here.

We don’t always have to hurry into the next season. Sometimes it’s enough to be right where we are and thank God for the beauty still around us.

Before you begin your week…

Take a slow, deep breath in…

Hold it for just a moment…

Now slowly exhale…
Repeat 4-6 times

May you carry a little of summer’s warmth with you into the week ahead.

I don’t know about you, but September always feels like an in-between season to me.

Summer is beginning to wind down, routines are shifting, and I find myself wanting to pause and reconnect before the pace picks up again.

If you’ve been feeling that too, this may be your reminder that you don’t have to wait until you’re completely exhausted to care for yourself. Sometimes what we need most is a quiet place to soften, breathe a little deeper, and let someone else take care of us for a while.

My September appointments are open for facial rituals, restorative massage, and the kind of deeply calming care that helps your whole body exhale.

Maybe this is your season to come back to yourself.

Sunday Night Exhale

Lately, I’ve been thinking about how we often feel a change within ourselves before we’re able to explain it. Something that once felt comfortable may begin to feel different. We may find ourselves wanting more space, a slower rhythm or something we can’t quite name yet.

I’ve been feeling some of that in my own life. Not because everything needs to be changed, but because I am changing. I’m paying closer attention to what feels right for me now, rather than continuing something simply because it has always been the way I’ve done it.

I think many women reach a season when they begin asking themselves different questions. Does this still fit me? Is this how I want my days to feel? What might be possible if I listened to the quiet pull inside me instead of pushing it aside?

We don’t have to answer every question tonight. Sometimes the beginning of change is simply being honest enough to notice what no longer feels the same.

As you prepare for the week ahead, take a slow breath in. As you exhale, soften your shoulders and allow yourself to listen. You don’t need to have everything figured out. You can be grateful for where you have been and still feel ready for what is becoming.

Tina

Sunday Night Exhale

This weekend had me thinking about how different taking care of ourselves can look from one woman to another.

One woman may need conversation and laughter. Another may need quiet. Someone may want to be surrounded by other women, while someone else may be looking forward to the part of the day when she can close her eyes and simply be cared for. Even when we gather in the same place, we don’t all arrive needing the same thing.

I think that’s important to remember because caring for ourselves doesn’t have to look a certain way. It may be an appointment, time with friends, a quiet morning, a good meal or finally admitting that we need a little support. What restores one woman may not be what restores another, and that’s okay.

As you prepare for the week ahead, take a moment to ask yourself what you need right now. Not what you should need or what works for everyone else, but what would truly help you feel cared for and supported.

Before you begin your week, take a slow, deep breath in. Hold it for just a moment. Now slowly exhale and give yourself permission to listen to your own needs.

May you move into this week remembering that caring for yourself can look different in every season.

With love,
Tina

Yesterday was our first retreat together, and today I am still taking in how special it was.

We gathered in the most beautiful setting for a day of movement, rest, nourishing food, meaningful conversation and being cared for. Every woman came for her own reasons and received the day in her own way. Some needed quiet. Some needed connection. Some simply needed permission to step away from everyday life for a little while.

Although I was there to care for others, I received something too. There was something deeply restorative about being surrounded by such wonderful women and watching them soften, breathe and allow themselves to receive.

I am so grateful to Chloe for creating this day with me, to our generous host for welcoming us into such a beautiful space, and to every woman who trusted us enough to be part of it.

Yesterday reminded me that rest does not always have to happen alone. Sometimes it is found in gathering, sharing a meal, being cared for and remembering that we were never meant to carry everything by ourselves.

My heart is very full today.

With love,
Tina

Your body responds to rhythm more than you may realize.

Waking and going to bed around the same time, sitting down for a nourishing meal, stepping outside for a few minutes and creating a gentle transition at the end of the day all give the body familiar signals.

These small, repeated moments can help us feel more settled and supported, especially during seasons when life feels busy or our energy is changing.

It doesn’t have to be a perfect routine. It may simply be taking one slow breath before eating, pausing between clients instead of immediately moving to the next thing, or lowering the lights at night to remind your body that the day is coming to an end.

So much of caring for ourselves is not about adding more. Sometimes it is about returning to the simple things our bodies can depend on.

What is one small rhythm that helps you feel more like yourself?
