I have suffered from painful cramps leading up to and during my menstrual cycle since my teens and whole adult life. 3 years ago I was feeling defeated by yet another painful cycle, and not wanting to take birth control or other medications, I decided to search for a holistic approach to care for this issue. I had heard of yoni steams in the past, but only as a spa treatment, similar to a facial. I continued to research the benefits of different herbs and herbal blends for various issues. Inspired and hopeful, I set out to get various herbs to make a blend catered to my needs and try it for myself. I created a relaxing environment at home, and the yoni steam was a wonderful and relaxing experience from the first sit. I felt refreshed, and hydrated and the experience also made me feel very in tune with my body and spiritually uplifted. I was amazed and very pleased, especially when it came time for my cycle to begin. My cramps were gone, my cycle was lighter, little to no bloating, I was impressed. I ended up sharing my experience with all my girlfriends! How good I felt after every steam, the impact it made for me hormonally, I am happy to have something that is a part of my self-care routine that helps me from within.
