Sometimes hair just doesn’t do what we planned… and that's okay.

There are so many factors that affect the outcome of your hair:
✨ Hair history
✨ Previous color
✨ Medications
✨ Product buildup
✨ Porosity etc.

That is why I am so thankful for clients who trust me enough to pivot when needed. 💛

This specific color, We pivoted THREE times. 😂

➡️ Pivot #1: We knew going into the appointment, that her hair wasn't going to lift enough for the light pink in her inspiration photo because of previous color we've done together.

➡️ Pivot #2: Once we started lightening, her hair decided it wanted to stop around a level 7.5 orange. 🥴 That meant changing our game plan and choosing a completely different underlying color that would actually work with what her hair gave us.

➡️ Pivot #3: Mid-application, we realized the colors were processing way too similar, so we switched colors to create the dimension and contrast we were after. 🫟🖌️

Hair, just like so many other things in life, is not linear. Trust the process.. Trust your stylist.. you’ll always walk out looking good 😉 I promise. 💕
