My surgery went well, and I’m so grateful for God’s protection and all the prayers and love. 🙏🏻

I’m resting and healing, and I plan to return to Ember & Grace on October 9! ❤️ I can’t wait to see you all again.

Well, friends… it’s time for me to slow down for a minute. 🤍

I’ll be out of the salon September 25 through October 9 for carpal tunnel surgery. Apparently, my hand has decided it needs a little attention! 😂

As much as I don’t love stepping away from the salon, I know this is one of those seasons where I need to listen to my body, rest, and let God take care of the rest.

I’m incredibly grateful for all of you who sit in my chair, trust me with your hair, and have become such an important part of my little salon family. ❤️

I’ll be back October 9, hopefully with a happy, healed hand and ready to get back to doing what I love!

Sometimes the hardest part of getting your hair done isn’t knowing what you want… it’s finding the words to explain it. 🤍

Before I ever mixed a bowl for this client, we had a good conversation about her vision. We pulled out swatches, looked at photos, compared colors, and talked through what she did—and didn’t—want.

Because “warmer, but not brassy” can mean something completely different to everyone. 😉

That’s why I don’t believe in rushing through a consultation. I want to really understand what you’re envisioning so we can create a color that feels like you.

And the best part? She walked out with the exact color she had been trying to describe. ✨
