It’s Prom Week and our Mystic Kyss Booth is ready to give you that beautiful, healthy glow. Here are some tips to help you achieve your perfect sunless tan.

⏰ Key Preparation Steps (24 Hours Prior)

Exfoliation: Use an oil-free scrub or exfoliating mitt to remove dead skin cells. This ensures an even, long-lasting tan.

Hair Removal: Shave or wax at least 24 hours before your session to avoid dark spots in open pores.

Avoid Barriers: Stop using harsh body washes, bar soaps (especially Dove), and in-shower moisturizers 24 hours before your appointment.

✨Day of the Appointment

Clean Skin: Arrive with no lotion, deodorant, makeup, or perfume on your skin.

No Jewelry: Remove all jewelry before entering the booth.

Dry Areas: If you have exceptionally dry skin, you may use a pH-balancing primer, but avoid thick, moisturizing lotions.

What to Wear To the appointment:
✅ Loose-fitting, dark clothing and flip-flops or sandals.
🚫Avoid tight clothes, boots, or jewelry afterward, as these can cause streaks.
In the booth: Most users go n**e for the best results, but you can wear a dark swimsuit or undergarment you don't mind getting stained.
Nails: If you have acrylics or polish, consider wearing gloves or applying a clear coat to protect them from discoloration.

🌀Aftercare

Wait to Shower: Allow your tan to develop for 4 to 12 hours (or as instructed) before showering.
First Shower: Rinse with lukewarm water only—no soap—for the first shower.

🛠️ Maintenance: Moisturize daily with an oil-free lotion to keep the tan, and avoid swimming or hot tubs, which fade the tan faster.

A self tan maintenance product is available to keeps your tan longer and touch up areas that fade more quickly.
