Mary Burmeister, who introduced Jin Shin Jyutsu to Western cultures from Japan, often quoted others to enhance her teachings in class. The following quote is one of those insightful ideas worth considering:

“Worry often gives a small thing a big shadow.” - Swedish Proverb

What does this quote evoke in your mind? How might it apply to your own life?

One of my favorite flows

The spleen flow anchor step, also a "quickie" hold to help you LET GO and harmonize worry. Sit in a comfortable location. Place your right hand on your right Safety Energy Lock 25 (on the right side of your bum closer to coccyx) and your left hand on left Safety Energy Lock 5, the dent found between the achilles and ankle bone on the inside of your foot. Hold gentle pressure while exhaling and inhaling deeply. Drop the shoulders. Just BE in the moment. Let go and appreciate what is.
This is a powerful hold and OK to do daily. Both SELs are about letting go of the old and regeneration. What a gift... thank you Mary Burmeister.
Happy Harmonizing!

Many pearls of wisdom were given by Mary Burmeister, including this: "Every error is some kind of truth I have not yet mastered." How does this resonate today for you?

As we wrap up another week, give your immune system an extra boost by placing your hands on your chest, two ribs down from the collarbone on each side. This hold also boosts creativity.
