It is officially 6 years! Sometimes it’s crazy to think all that changed during the shutdown. I am grateful for another day to be a better version of myself and continue to grow. This year will be about embracing the journey, and moving forward all while giving back which is where my heart truly is happy.

I huge thank you to all that have supported MGB Salon & Spa. We appreciate every interaction in person and on social media to continue to grow! The heart and soul of MGB is making everyone feel the best version of themself everyday, whether it be a warm salon chair or a joyful smile. We had the pleasure yesterday of volunteering for a wonderful non-profit the Magic Yarn Project! The Magic Yarn Project creates character wigs from yarn for children experiencing medical hair loss. We made wigs based on popular characters like princesses and superheroes. These wigs help children feel brave and powerful, allowing them to be kids again. The yarn works perfect on their sensitive scalps as sometimes a real hair wig can be to harsh. These wigs will be donated to Lemmon-Holten Cancer Center in Grand Rapids and Mott’s Childrens Hospital in Ann Arbor. It was such a fun event and so rewarding knowing they are going to little fighters.
