Last night was a beautiful reminder of what can happen when people come together with a shared purpose.
We had the privilege of welcoming members of Rogue Gateway Rotary to the EcoRECOVERY Trail at Fish Hatchery Park for a guided experience through Oregon’s first certified Forest Therapy Trail. Together, we explored not only the healing power of nature, but also the vision for what this trail can become through community partnership.
The EcoRECOVERY Trail is more than a walking path, it’s a place where people reconnect with themselves, each other, and the natural world. As we continue building this free community resource, we’re looking for individuals, businesses, and organizations who want to help us grow its impact.
🌿 We’re now recruiting EcoRECOVERY Ambassadors! Whether your passion is fundraising, resource development, or serving as an assistant guide, there’s a place for you on our volunteer team. Every skill, every connection, and every hour of service helps expand access to healing through nature.
If your organization would like to learn more about EcoRECOVERY and explore ways to support the trail, we’d love to host you for a trail tour. Come experience the trail for yourself, hear the vision, and discover how we can work together to make healing through nature accessible to even more people.
Together, we can grow something that will serve our community for generations to come.

Another beautiful day in the woods with these lovely humans!
Today's gifts from nature included sharing space on the river bank with a beautiful heron, watching a deer cross the river, taking our cue to slow down from a lizard sun bathing on a rock and just resting on the earths floor.
There’s something powerful that happens when we slow down, step into nature, and simply allow ourselves to be present.
Today’s EcoRECOVERY session was a beautiful reminder that healing doesn’t always require doing more, sometimes it begins by pausing.
If you could use a little more peace, connection, and relaxation in your life, we’d love to have you join us. We gather on the last Sunday of every month, and everyone is welcome.

Tomorrow morning, join us for an EcoRECOVERY guided nature immersion at Fish Hatchery Park in Grants Pass.

Remember that!
Recovery isn’t just about letting go of what no longer serves you. It’s about discovering what stirs your senses awake again, what breathes warmth back into your body.
Today, I picked up this drum for the very first time.
Its surface was smooth and warm beneath my fingertips, the hide stretched taut, carrying a quiet tension that seemed alive.
When I struck it gently, a deep, resonant pulse echoed through my hands and into my chest with a steady, grounding, like a second heartbeat awakening inside me. In that moment, I knew I needed one of my own.
Now begins the journey of learning to move with it, to listen and respond, to find rhythm in partnership with this beautiful instrument.
For now, I’m simply listening to the low hum of the drum fading into the air, the sharp calls of crows overhead, the soft, continuous trickle of the fountain nearby, and the whisper of wind threading through the leaves of the trees.
The world feels fuller, richer, alive with sound.
What a beautiful way to begin.
