A beautiful wedding tucked alongside the Rogue River, the most stunning setting, an incredibly sweet and kind family, and a vendor team that made the whole day feel effortless.

There’s something so special about walking into a wedding day and getting to create alongside people who are wildly talented at what they do. The conversations, the laughter, everyone working toward the same thing — giving one family a day they’ll never forget. 🤍

And Maggie Smith… absolutely breathtaking. The river, the greenery, the atmosphere — such a hidden gem here in Southern Oregon.

Days like today remind me how lucky I am that this gets to be my job.

A little milestone I didn’t know would mean quite this much. 🥹🤍

For the very first time, I got to do my daughter’s hair!

I’ve spent so many years behind the chair, doing hair for countless women and being invited into so many of their special moments, but having my own girl sitting in my chair felt completely different.

And honestly, the hair wasn’t even my favorite part.

We talked. We laughed. We had SO much fun. 🤍

For a little while, we got to step outside of the normal mother-daughter rhythm of school, chores, schedules, reminders, and all the everyday life things…and just enjoy each other.

We connected. 🥹

She got to sit in Mom’s chair and be pampered, and I got to slow down long enough to really soak her in.

She may remember the day Mom did her hair before school for the first time…

I think I’ll remember the conversation, the laughter, and the little girl sitting in my chair. 🤍✨
