Openings!

I have been slacking on posting pictures. Life has been .. well.. just life.
Last week was the slowest week I have had all year due to cancellations.
And you know what? I honestly didn’t even fill the openings.
I needed rest and time to reset. Time to think.
Life with an almost 14 year old is really hard.
Trying to navigate the changes and not feel in control is extremely hard for someone who feels grounded and safe when they have control and a plan.
I was born a true Capricorn. No denying that.
I’m thankful for my clients who hear it all and I’m thankful they have a place in my chair so that I can hear it all. Because sometimes we need more than a hour every week with the therapist to get this stuff off our chest.
Looking forward to a mini vacay to Utah in two weeks to unplug and rest some more before the holiday rush.

Reminder that I am only working two Saturdays per month. 💆🏼‍♀️

I will be off in a few weekends while Grapefest is going on. 🍇

The universe knew I needed these kind gestures today. Life has been a scooter to the ankle the past few weeks.

I haven’t seen Laura in my chair in a long time and she walks in today with this beautiful bouquet of flowers. *held back some tears*

Life happens and sometimes our clients go different routes. I want my clients to know that they always have a place in my chair to come back to.

Sometime in the beginning of my hair career I realized I needed a logo and help branding. I’ve done the classic black hat, all the fun colors of hats, stickers, a super nice jacket, tshirts and more.

I’m not sure if a lot of my clients know this, but my client Suzi with Lone Star Stitching designed pages worth of logos for me to choose from. I took one look and knew this was the one. She agreed and it was on from there.

Yesterday in conversation I told her how we have so many of the same water bottles at home and that they always get mix matched.

Today she walked in to the salon with this sticker and said “now you won’t get yours mixed up”. 🖤🥹

Seriously meant so much to me. It’s the little things in life, like someone taking time out of their busy day to think of something like that.

When I see my logo, it reminds me of all the years I have put in to my business. Reminds me of how far I have come and how far I can go.

Thank you Suzi for being the best client all these years and creating the best logo that I will keep forever. 🖤
