Some guests come into your life by chance… and somehow end up becoming family.

Jen started as my neighbor… and turned into someone who feels like a second mom and one of the realest friends I have. She’s been in my corner since day one , before all of this, before the growth, before the chaos, and she’s never once wavered.

We’ve been through a lot together, and watching her over the last year has been nothing short of inspiring. She’s lost over 150 lbs… 150. That kind of discipline, strength, and commitment to yourself is something most people only talk about doing. She actually did it. And she did it for her health, her life, and to feel better in her own skin—and I’m so damn proud of her.

But with that kind of transformation, sometimes things come with it that you don’t expect. Her hair, once the thhhhhhhicccccccccckest, changed in a way that didn’t feel like her anymore. She lost about 70% of it… and that’s not just hair, that’s identity, confidence, familiarity.

So we adapted. We started with k-tips back in November to give her some fullness while her natural hair had time to recover… and this week we made the switch to wefts, bringing back the hair she recognizes in the mirror, while still protecting and supporting her hair health journey.

This is why I do what I do. It’s not just hair. It’s helping someone feel like themselves again.

Jen, I love you. You are strong, resilient, and one of the kindest souls I know. You’ve supported me in ways you don’t even realize, and I hope I can always give that back to you.
