GLP-1 Myths… 🤫

•You will need the medication forever
Unlike most med spas, our program is not based on weight loss alone. Our provider dives deep into the hormone imbalances causing the difficulty with weight loss in the first place. As we manage and treat these conditions, the GLP-1 therapy is more effective and our patients get to their goal weight quicker, transitioning to maintenance therapies without the need for injections.

•GLP-1 therapy is a “quick fix”
There is a narrative that weight loss medications work quickly or are the “easy way out”. However, these medications work best when combined with dietary changes and lifestyle modifications to establish healthy habits. All aspects of our program take commitment. GLP-1’s are just an extra tool to use along the way, and there’s no shame in that!

•You’ll just regain more weight back
This is often believed due to lack of guidance when using weight loss medications. Because we work to treat our patients and each of their unique conditions entirely, you will learn what your body needs throughout your treatment and how to manage any irregularities. GLP1 therapy works to assist your body in the way it regulates your blood sugar levels, reducing the risk for development of Type II Diabetes.
