I saw a post asking what body type a massage therapist prefers to massage. I was a little flabbergasted because my answer is all body types. One isn’t any easier/better than the other. One isn’t more deserving than another.

Every body deserves compassionate care.

Not just certain bodies.
Not only pain-free bodies.
Not only athletic bodies.
Not only young bodies.

Every. Body.

No matter your size, shape, age, ability, flexibility, or body composition, you deserve to feel respected, comfortable, and cared for.

Massage isn’t about changing your body.
It’s about supporting the body you have today.

At Peaceful Progress Massage, my goal is to provide a welcoming, judgment-free space where you can exhale, be heard, and receive care that’s tailored to your body’s needs.

Because healing doesn’t have a body type. 🩵

Your body is always communicating.

Pain isn't your body trying to punish you.

It's your body trying to get your attention.

Sometimes the source of discomfort is exactly where you feel it.

Other times, the cause is somewhere else entirely.

Part of my job isn't just easing tension ...t's helping identify the patterns that may be contributing to it.

I was able to attend a beautiful volunteer event yesterday hosted by Monarch 61 Project. I could only stay for the morning portion but everything was so beautiful and purposeful and engaging….which, if you know Nicole Walton, you know that absolutely describes her and her personality perfectly so of course her organization and events would reflect that.

The theme was Taylor Swift. Loved it!! The volunteer program is divided into houses. I was put into the house of safety. The purpose of this house brings tears to my eyes every time I read it and I’m so honored and humbled to be a part of it: to create environments where emotional and physical safety are sacred ground. This IS the culture at Peaceful Progress Massage. Emotional and physical safety is priority so I’m thrilled to be in this house and volunteer alongside other women to serve the people who attend Monarch 61 events.

I love and appreciate the work Monarch 61 is doing in the lives of women and children who are in need of our help and support. I’m honored to wear these two bracelets and be a part of the work Nicole started years ago.

Also, the food and the gifts…*chef’s kiss*. You can’t tell me Nicole’s love language isn’t gifting.
