With Thanksgiving approaching, I’ve been reflecting on the past year — the people, the conversations, the growth, and the quiet ways God has shown up in my everyday moments.

I’ve learned that this work is so much more than hair. Yes, I love doing beautiful hair and helping women feel confident — but the biggest part of my job will always be the conversations and the hearts I get to sit with.

I lead a young adults group outside of the salon, and honestly… it’s the same ministry in a different room. I get to walk with people in real life — their highs, lows, questions, doubts, joy, heartbreak, and growth. And every single day, I’m reminded that I can’t do any of it on my own.

I rely on Jesus for the words to say, the patience to show up, the peace that fills the room, and the love I get to offer. My chair isn’t just a business — it’s a place where people are seen, known, and cared for. And I don’t take that lightly.

So here’s to the calling.
Here’s to loving people well.
Here’s to the sacred small moments.
