This is something no one could have prepared me for. No matter how protective you can be you’re still exposed to so much.

These thoughts are real, but I really try to remain positive and not dwell on it too much. Light outshines darkness 🫶🏼

I don’t know what’s crazier.. thinking about this when I woke up or my hair situation 🤣

I’m guilty of recommending this product and others that are FULL of silicones (the reason why your hair is soft) over the years.. As you can see the flame is pretty concerning knowing that it’s literally smoking due to the silicones.

Why is this an issue?

Silicones over time block your hair from getting nutrients and moisture from your shampoo and conditioner. It can also create a build up over time leading to bigger issues.

I recently saw a photo of an old client on facebook the other day..

It was with her daughter and it brought me so much joy because of the genuine happiness that I saw.

The secondary thing that I noticed was her grey hair that was peeping through and it had me thinking, “wow she looks gorgeous!” She would probably think otherwise as that is what culture tells us, but to me it seemed as if she has lived such a fruitful life with every sparkle telling a story!

Grey hair isn’t something to be scared or shocked by, but to be embraced knowing that we get to live another year full of moments.
