Keep setting goals for yourself. I like to pick weights and do everything i can to make it to them. For example i set a new pr on dumbell incline press which is now my favorite exercise. 95 pounds each for 3 sets of 6! Next will be 100's. Keep moving forward.
Do not overlook things like leg day. To be more specific be sure to hit the weak muscles that dont fight gravity all day long unless called upon. Like glute medius. Band shuffling sideways is a great way to hot that!

Carving time out to do things you love is important. For me that is getting into the gym at least three times a week. That is my stress reliever. Whatever you love set some time aside for it and make it a permanent appointment.
Keeping a workout journal is super important to me. I like to know when im making progress, such as moving past a plateau. You dont always have to max out to set a personal record. Looking back at previous weeks and seeing where i am now just makes ne want to keep moving forward.
Replace those chips with some nuts! Protein gets you fuller faster. Then you're also avoiding that processed junk.
Machines are a great way to really push some heavy weight or a lot of reps at the end of a lift. You don't have to worry about form or hurting yourself as much as you would using a barbell or dumbbell when you are tired. I like to finish the majority of my lifts using a machine.
