Blown Away Studio-Sara inside Sola Salons

12 years ago, I got a postcard in the mail about this “Sola Salons” place. I was definitely intrigued so I decided to have a meeting with the franchise owner at the time and see it for myself. I was scared, nervous, all the feels.
But, after, something inside me said, you need to do this, change is good, don’t be afraid…

So, I walked away from what was comfortable at JCPenney Salon after 13 years and stepped into the unknown into Sola Salon Studios and opened Blown Away Studio.

I didn’t have it all figured out…
but I had a vision and a whole lot of hope.

What I didn’t fully realize at the time is that this journey wouldn’t just build a business…
it would build relationships, trust, and a community I’m so proud of. It gave me the courage to step outside my comfort zone and recognize more opportunities to say yes to.

To my loyal clients (many of you from day one), and my family—
thank you for standing by me, supporting me, and growing with me.

12 years later… I wouldn’t change a thing.
