Sorry guys I know it’s been a while, haven’t had much to show in school lately. But here ya go!

So they lovely client had a year of outgrowth on her color and was also looking for a cut. First is the bleaching process, second shows the length of the hair before making the cut and the last 3 are the finished product! (Outgrowth will be in the comments below, wouldn’t let me add them together).

Showing off a bit more of the haircuts we’ve done. This is Diane (yea the mannequins have names) after cutting her hair using the diagonal forward (bob) technique on our class shown in the first picture. Working on the palm to palm technique we cut her long bob into a pixie cut ^.^

These are fingerwaves. The left is the first time learning how to do them using the strip. The right is finally doing it on a whole mannequin head. 

These pictures show a French updo and in the second two a uniform layered cut.

Continuing hair cutting class the next day we learned figure 6 and 8 curls on our strip of hair. Figure 6’s on the right and 8’s on the left.

So starting us off unfortunately I don’t have any pictures from before hair cutting class but this is when I started taking them more consistently. On this day we learned how to do a five strand updo seen in the first picture. A rope braid in the second. A fishtail braid shown in the third with the right side being my teachers and left being mine. And finally the last two being just simple braids.
