Every inch of this hair was freshly colored yesterday and turned out so so good — Our goal was dark, ashy & dimensional! We rooted her, low-lighted, with a blended balayage highlight and then toned her silvery to give her that perfect dimensional ashy look! 🩶

It’s so hard to believe that the salon has been open for 5 YEARS 🥹🥳

So much has happened in those 5 years! I got married the same year the salon opened, I’ve had two babies since then, my sister Abi went to Esthi school and runs a busy and growing business of her own within the salon and so much more!

I am incredibly grateful for the salon and all of the people who support it! We have some of the BEST clients, truly!

My schedule is always majority booked out for at least 6 months with color appointments now, which is still so insane to me! If you would’ve told me that would be the case 10 years ago, I wouldn’t believe it! I can’t put into words how much it means to me that people find it worth it to try and plan their appointments that far ahead for me to do their hair. 🥹 I love hair and I’m proud that so many have such faith in my work, but I love the connection the most! Getting to make people feel good and excited about their hair and creating great relationships with my clients is what really fills my cup.

I’m not perfect and I make mistakes — I’m terrible at replying to messages timely, I’ve messed up booking appointments wrong here and there, and there are times that I won’t nail whatever look we might be striving for, but the patience and kindness that people give me is what makes me want to work harder and keep growing as a stylist. It’s so much more than just a service for me and I hope my clients know and feel that!

My dreams for what I see myself doing in this industry have only grown these last 5 years and I hope that once I have a little more time (after my babies are a little more grown, because I am a mom first) I will get to do those things, but for now I am so happy where I am at! Grateful to a community that has been so supportive of my business, grateful to my clients that have been so patient and understanding through my life changing and maternity leaves, and grateful to a have a job that fills my cup more often than not.

Lastly, I am so thankful to have the most supportive family & husband that has put so much time and energy into the salon over the years as well. The salon wouldn’t be what it is without them! 🤍

Thank you to anyone who has been supportive in not only these last 5 years, but the last 10! You’ve all played a huge role in where I’m at today, big or small. 🖤
