Just a quick update to let everyone know Kelly is doing wonderful!
She was released from the hospital Monday and has continued to improve daily!
Radiation treatments are starting back up and soon this will all be behind us!

Just wanted to let everyone know that Kelly is stable and doing excellent now! If everything continues to go well she should be home Monday from the hospital!
As soon as we get a couple things straightened out we will continue the daily Radiation Treatments down in Springfield.

QUICK UPDATE 12/21/23
Just letting her friends and supporters know that Kelly unfortunately will be back in the hospital for a while.
She is not in any immediate danger but will most likely not be home for Christmas or New Years.
The Radiation Treatments will start as soon as she gets out.

UPDATE 12/18/23

Well Kelly FINALLY has a start date for the Radiation Treatments!
The dry run will be on December 26th with the first actual treatment the next day on the 27th!
So January will be filled with 4 weeks of daily driving to the Springfield Cancer Center.
It's been a long fall and winter. We we're originally so naive about how long this process would take, from tumor removal to finishing the Radiation Treatments. Both of us assumed she would be done and back to work by December the latest!
But the wheels of medicine turn slowly.
Kelly herself is a warrior! I am amazed daily at her resilience and faith going through this difficult process.
The Hormone Therapy she is on as part of the treatment at the moment gives her terrible nausea, fuzzy brain and fatigue, but she gets through it with dignity and grace.
We know in the midst of this holiday season we are all tight financially, but we are going to leave the Gofundme up until we get through the Radiation Treatments and Kelly is strong enough to re-open the business.
We want to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for all the support we have received.
Honestly, I can't even imagine how we would have gotten this far without it.

Hoping that everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving! We are so Blessed to have spent it with our family and loved ones!
Quick update on Kelly's upcoming Radiation treatments.
She will undergo 4 weeks of treatments Monday- Friday down in Springfield starting December 13th.
With the combination of Cancer drugs & daily Radiation Kelly will be battling severe physical and mental fatigue during this time.
We ask that you continue praying for her and our family.

Talked to the radiologist today.
Kelly will undergo 4 weeks of daily direct radiation treatments at the Springfield Cancer Center.
Treatment will start right after Thanksgiving.
Please keep Kelly and family in your prayers as this will be an exhausting month physically, emotionally and spiritually for us.

UPDATE 11/8/23
Thank you all who have supported Kelly and our family during this crisis!
Once again I want to let you all know how blessed and grateful we are.
Kelly is healing well from the surgery that removed the lump. The doctors have her on a post-op anti-cancer medication that will help kill any cells that may have been missed.
This medication is pretty harsh and although Kelly is in a positive mood the side effects have left her exhausted.
We have a 11/14 appt to start the radiation treatments in Springfield at the Baystate Cancer Center.
We are asking that you continue to pray for Kelly as we do not know how her body will react to the treatments. Some people breeze through it, while others have severe fatigue and nausea.
Your donations have kept our financial situation from spiraling out of control and we thank you from the bottom of our heart.
Please keep sharing this Gofundme as we still have 3-4 more weeks before Kelly will officially reopen her business.

UPDATE 11/1/23
Kelly is resting from yesterdays surgery and is in good spirits!
The surgeon said the operation went flawless, what a blessing!
Now on to post-op recovery!
After her body heals Kelly will start direct radiation treatments for a couple weeks, then depending on how well she handles it, she will start thinking about re-opening her business and getting on with the rest of her life!
We want to again thank everyone who has donated, supported and prayed for Kelly and our family over the past 2 months. The outpouring has been humbling and appreciated, I don't know how we would have survived without all your help.
Its been a long hard journey but we are looking forward at a happy ending to it soon!
