Happy world breastfeeding week! This week we are recognizing and thanking those who help us with promoting and supporting breastfeeding in our community.
Today we thank all the volunteers who have helped us over the last few years. Whether it’s sitting at our lactation stations at the fair and Riley days, helped with fundraising, donated supplies or participated in other events. We appreciate your time and support!

We will be posting “ Thank You” posts all this week to recognize all those who have helped us promote and support breastfeeding in our community. Today we thank Rob Barnhart and Holly Plank from the Hancock County fair for helping us set our lactation station. This service provided a space for mothers to feed their babies and parents to change diapers while at the fair. We appreciate you helping us.

We also thank Emily and Dillon Kidder for letting us use their camper for the lactation station. This space provides a private, quiet place and air conditioning during the hot week at the fair.

We are set up and open for business. We are located between the commercial and pioneer buildings. If you need a quiet place to feed your baby or change a diaper stop by and use our station . Open during vendor hours.

We still need some volunteer help for our lactation station for the week of the fair. Even if you can only be there for an hour, we appreciate any time you can give us. All you have to do is sit at our lactation station and welcome anyone that comes to use it. Babies and kids are welcome to sit with you.

We are getting ready to host another lactation station at the Hancock County 4-H fair. Our camper will be located in the west side of the commercial building and open during fair hours.
