Nursing school is so humbling.
The endless studying, clinicals, exams, stress, and pressure can leave me mentally, physically, and emotionally exhauste, especially while trying to balance work, life, responsibilities, and still finding time to just be me. Some days it feels like there simply aren’t enough hours.
No matter how much I learn, there’s always more to grow through. But this journey has also shown me that I know more than I realize. Things that once felt impossible are slowly starting to make sense, and I’m learning to trust myself more.
Now in my fourth semester, I can feel my mindset shifting. I’m beginning to enjoy challenging myself, testing what I know, and seeing how far I’ve come. It’s still draining, and balancing nursing school with work and life is far from easy, but I’m proud of my growt, even on the days I feel like I’m barely holding it together. There is no Plan B. I will have RN beside my name. I will get through this. One exam, one clinical, one long day at a time. I’m tired, I’m growing, and I’m still showing up. Future RN loading… 🩺🤍✨
Monkey mom life = cleaning one mess while they create three more 😂🐒
Outside of work, nursing school, studying, 12 hour clinical days and trying to keep up with regular life, there’s also monkey cleaning day 😅
Sweeping around the outside of the cage, loading trash bags, zip-tying down every bottom piece because Ohana thinks slamming them is a full-time job, changing out water, scrubbing water containers and feeding bowls, washing blankets… and then having to stop mid-cleaning because Xander got ahold of an ENTIRE pack of gloves. 😭😂
At this point, I’m not cleaning the monkey area… I’m just trying to stay one step ahead of the chaos.
Owning monkeys is a LOT of work, especially when the cleaning comes into play. Between work, nursing school, studying, and these little troublemakers, there is seriously never a dull moment. 🐒❤️

Semester four returns on Monday 😳🤪
3 weeks left of my 3rd semester in nursing school! I have loved every second of this one. Mental health has been awesome. I don’t even remember the last time my dad and I rode together, but riding horses on the beach today brought back so many memories of our father-daughter rides growing up. From my very first horse to today, it felt like reliving such a special part of my childhood. I’m hoping for many more of these special moments together in the years to come.🥹🥹☀️💕
