I take so much pride in what I do and what I’ve built. I started at Aveda with a vision, but the road wasn’t easy. At 18, spas didn’t trust a “young girl” with their clients. So, I spent nearly a decade at Sephora grinding, burning out, and feeling like my dream was slipping away.I was tired of missing family moments and working for a company that didn’t value my worth. With the help of my mom and sister, I started in a tiny studio in the back of a salon. I worked months without a single day off. I sacrificed everything to help others struggling with the same painful acne and low self esteem I once felt.In 2019, I finally opened my own spa... then the pandemic hit. That “break” gave me the courage to finally quit my “safe” job and bet on myself. I had $2 in my bank account and a whole lot of faith.this year we are celebrating Serene Skin’s 7th anniversary! 🥂 It was the greatest decision of my life.
