Y’all ever had to start completely over? 🌿✨

Coming back home to Greensboro after a divorce was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. I opened a tiny salon suite, just trying to find my footing and rebuild my life piece by piece.

One late night, I was sitting with a friend for a serious rebrand think tank. We were tossing out names, trying to find something that FELT like me. After hours of brainstorming, my friend just blurted it out: “Look, a nerd is who you are!” 🤓

I sat there for a second like... okayyy! 😂 I’m a hair color specialist who is OBSESSED with the science, the formulas, and the why behind the beauty. Right then and there, The Nerdy Colorist was born.

It’s more than just a name: it’s my journey of turning a tough season into something beautiful. Greensboro, thank you for being the soil where I could regrow. We’re out here blending science and style every single day! 🧪🎨

As many of you may know, I am just days away from welcoming my beautiful baby boy into the world. My heart is full, and I am so grateful for all of your love, support, and excitement during this special time.

With that being said, I will officially be on maternity leave as I prepare for his arrival and take time to rest, recover, and soak in these precious moments.
