I wanted to play with an idea and use up some random old colors I have on the shelf... so between clients this week I did some color correcting on this mannequin and gave her a new look.
New haircut to come this week between bookings. Sorry "Ellie", paying clients come first. 😉

First of all, I am not begrudging any stylist who is raising their prices right now. We all do what we need to and cost of living as well as rent etc. is different everywhere. A big factor in this business is location!
What I would like to share, is that my goal as a hairdresser, artist, human has always been accessibility. I know some people think that things like getting your hair done is a luxury, but I disagree. I believe everyone should be able to get good service and feel good and confident in their appearance.
I know things are crazy expensive right now and there doesn't seem to be an end to that any time soon. When I opened my suite last Novemeber, I did my best to price my services at a cost where I could earn enough money to support myself and my child, while still being affordable.
The list below is a snippet of what I offer and my full list is available on my website. When it comes to color services I can be creative, and if you need something that works in your budget, we can probably come up with a solution.
I am still building my new business as well, so if you'll share this with anyone you know in the area who might need a stylist I thank you!

Hi there! Quick intro for anyone new to my page.
I'm Sandra and yesterday was my 20 year anniversary of getting my Cosmetology license!
I chose hairstyling as a career because it seemed like a good way for me to be creative every day and I figured no two days would be the same. (I get bored easily, so that's important for me- # adhd)

In January of this year I moved into my own salon suite full time and I am so grateful for everyone who has come in for services and for everyone who has given me encouragement and emotional support! It's been a good start and I am excited to see how things grow.
