She also attended Joe Blasco School of the Arts in Los Angeles in 1996-1997, a professional makeup artist traning center. Her advanced education includes Glamor, Old Age, and FX Makeup classes. She specializes in curly hair, bridal up do's, cuts and design, color, high-lighting and low-lighting, photographic and fantasy makeup. Besides her formal education in hair and makeup, Ramona has worked in salons for many years, most of her years at J.Micheal's and Christopher's. Also certified with MAC Cosmetics, she was with MAC for four years, further educating herself on applying makeup naturally yet beautifully. Although she took a short hiatus from hair and makeup, Ramona is back and ready to pursue her passion with a renewed focus. Her top goal is making her clients happy so that they walk away feeling like a fresher version of their previous self. While Ramona is happy to make suggestions, she always takes into consideration her client's individual needs and preferences. In her free time, she loves to go dancing and spending time with her family. She grew up in Greensboro, attending Grimsley High School, before moving to Morehead City as a teenager, then later returning to her hometown. She loves her family, her dog (CoCo Channel), watching movies, reading laughing and traveling.
