Over the past months, my world has shifted in the most unexpected and beautiful way. Having my second baby boy 3 months early — and starting our NICU journey— has completely realigned my life.

To avoid any confusion I’ll be stepping away from this page and deleting it. I’ll be staying home with my babies for the next several years, and this chapter deserves my full presence.

This hair page and the people here have meant more to me than I can put into words. Thank you for supporting me, trusting me, and being part of my journey.

Hi friends. Wanted to pop onto this page because I know many of you do not follow me anywhere else.

It turns out that God was preparing us for something we didn’t even know was coming. Just one day before my last day of work, our second baby boy was born via emergency C-section at just 25 weeks gestation. That’s about 3.5 months early.

Baby boy is now one week old, and doing overall really well. We have a long road ahead, but we are taking it day by day.

I wanted to give a quick last update for you all since I had to close this chapter so abruptly, and enter full time motherhood in such a wild way. I want to thank all of you for your support over the years, and continued prayers for me and my family.

A few details regarding my announcement 🤍

This is a post I never imagined I’d be writing again… but God has a way of redirecting our steps even when we thought we knew the plan.

When I opened my suite, I truly believed I was stepping into the next long chapter of my career. I poured my heart into that space and into the guests who sat in my chair. But over the past months — between growing our family, preparing for another baby, and watching our little boy grow so quickly — our reality began to shift. And as much as I tried to hold tightly to the plans I made, God gently kept showing me a different path.

We prayed over this decision again and again. We talked through every possibility, every hope, and every fear. And as we looked honestly at what our family needs, one thing became clear: the cost of me working — financially, emotionally, and practically — no longer aligns with the season we’re stepping into. With another baby on the way, daycare costs would double, and instead of contributing to our family, staying in the salon would actually be taking from it.

So beginning January 1st, I will be stepping away from the salon and stepping fully into my role as a stay-at-home mom.

This decision was not made lightly. I’ve spent 10 years building a career I loved. Walking away from something that has shaped so much of who I am has been incredibly emotional. But in every moment of doubt, one truth kept anchoring me:

I may be replaceable anywhere else, but I am not replaceable as my kids’ mom.

As we prayed through this, that truth brought a sense of peace that could only come from God. He has been so faithful in guiding us, even when this wasn’t the plan I pictured for myself.

For the foreseeable future, I will not be returning behind the chair.

To every guest who has supported me through every chapter of my life: thank you. Thank you for trusting me, for cheering me on, for showing up, and for helping shape the last decade into something I will always be grateful for.

Hello it’s me 👋🏼 dropping in to say we are suuuuper close to Thanksgiving AND Christmas, and just a couple of months after that, I will be taking my leave to soak in new baby snugs!

If you still need an appointment before the holidays, I have a few openings! If you need an appt before my leave (early/mid March) please plan as far ahead as you’re able so we can be sure you’re fresh before I go!
