only a few spots left for our
🌸April Special: free strand with every retwist. Only TWO slots left for the month.
Might have to run this style back👌🏾😮💨
From “blown out” to “silked out” ✨
Transitioning to grey is a journey, and we’re loving the way the remaining brown ends add some dimension to the final look. 🩶🤎
Fresh roots + defined twists =
A 2-for-1 style! 🔒✨
Here is how to nail your retwist and two-strand twists in one go for a look that lasts longer and stays crispy.
The Step-by-Step 🛠️
1) Prep & Part: Start with freshly washed, damp hair. Use a rat-tail comb and your favorite lock gel to clean up your parts for that “crispy” finish.
2)The Retwist: Apply product to the root of a single loc. Use a comb to “smooth out” the new growth.
*Locksmithing: To secure the hair from root to tip, use the locksmithing technique: pull in with your index finger and push out with your thumb down the shaft of the loc.
3)Repeat: Do the same for the adjacent loc so you have two freshly retwisted strands ready to go.
4)The Two-Strand: Hold both locs and begin twisting them together. *Pro-tip: Twist each individual loc in its natural direction (usually to the right) while crossing them over each other in the same direction to ensure they stay tight and uniform.
5)Secure the Ends: Wrap a small rubber band at the bottom. If one loc is shorter, fold it into the twist to keep the finish polished.
6)Dry: Set the style under a hooded dryer or let it air dry completely to prevent unraveling or mildew.
Stop struggling with slippage! 🚫
If you have a softer hair texture, crochet maintenance is your best friend.
It instantly fuses the hair strands together, so you don’t have to wait months for your hair to “mature”—we can create that maturity in one session. Check the clean parting and the tension-free hold! ✨
🧼 Step 1: Cleanse & Dry (Foundation is everything)
🧶 Step 2: Crochet work—locking in the loose hair while keeping the parts crisp.
✨ Step 3: The reveal!
