A client of mine sent me this picture today… and honestly, it perfectly captures where I’ve been mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. 🙏🏾
Sometimes as Black women, especially mothers, we pour and pour until there’s nothing left for ourselves.
We carry everybody. We fix everything. We survive things silently. And somewhere in the middle of being “strong,” we neglect ourselves.
But this moment right here wasn’t weakness.
This was surrender.
This was me allowing God to pour back into ME.
I never forget where my help comes from. And all week it stayed heavy in my spirit to start Mother’s Day in church. So I listened.
Truth is… I should’ve been dead.
I should’ve lost my mind from some of the things I’ve endured.
But God kept me anyway.
He covered me when I was breaking.
Loved me when I felt unlovable.
Strengthened me when I was empty.
So today, I’m grateful.
Grateful to still be here.
Grateful to still be standing.
Grateful that God still meets me at the altar every single time. 💜✨

Luxury Loc Rehab with Haze 💜 — Part 2
This beauty told me she avoided wearing her locs down because her middle part was completely nonexistent. 😩
Instead of a clean center part, there were locs placed directly where the part should’ve been… making styling frustrating and taking away her confidence.
So today’s rehab session was all about CORRECTION ✨
I carefully reconstructed and created the middle part she should’ve had from the beginning so she could finally wear her locs down with pride, confidence, and versatility.
Because healthy locs are important… but so is feeling beautiful in your style 💜
