A little personal update from Kendra 💜

I’ve had quite a few people ask me lately, “Are you doing hair again?” So I thought it was probably time I answered that question….

The answer is Yes, I am. I’ve slowly started taking hair clients again, but I am keeping my hours limited throughout the week because I’m working a second job doing something else I love too 💙

Stepping away from doing hair for a while gave me some much-needed time to really think about what I want moving forward. I’ve realized that I still love doing hair, I really love the relationships I’ve built with so many of you over the years. And with my vast amount of knowledge on hair, skin, and diseases, I do feel that I need to be available to share my mastery.

I really want to be intentional about the role I have at The Beauty Shop

✨I want to see Elly grow, gain confidence, and build her clientele as a stylist. I want to see Jenna continue to grow and thrive as a nail tech. And I want to give both of them the space and opportunity to do just that. 🤍

And truthfully, I’m still figuring out my own place in all of it.

I don’t have everything figured out, and I’m learning to be okay with that. For now, I’m finding a balance between doing what I love, supporting the women around me, and giving myself the time and freedom to figure out what the next chapter looks like.

So yes… I’m back behind the chair. ✂️❤️
Just not quite as much as I used to be.

And to everyone who has asked, checked on me, or told me you’ve missed seeing me — thank you. It really does mean more than you know and the biggest reason why I’m still here 🥰
