I love when makeup stops being just makeup and becomes ART. Creating looks like this gives me a chance to step outside of traditional beauty makeup and just let my imagination run wild.
From the makeup to the handmade elements, this one was entirely about creating something fun, weird, colorful and a little over the top.
Well… that escalated quickly. 🍦😂

Now that I’m finished with school and exams, I finally had a chance to use one of my days off to just CREATE again.
I jumped on the trend and spent HOURS painting this look, which was honestly exactly what I needed. And the timing couldn’t be better because Halloween is right around the corner, so consider this the beginning of spooky season practice. 🎃
It felt SO GOOD to sit down and create something just because I wanted to. No test. No timer. No rubric. Just creativity.

Unlike many of my clients who come in wanting to learn a basic everyday makeup routine, Ms. Alicia had something completely different in mind! 🎨✨
She brought in a reference photo of a fun, colorful glam look she wanted to recreate for her upcoming birthday party, so that became the focus of her 1:1 lesson.
I demonstrated the look step by step on the left side of her face, while she followed along and recreated each step herself on the right. We decided to skip the lashes since she wanted to save those for her actual birthday look, but I have to say… she did a fantastic job! 👏🏾
