Your hair dresser here at Hair Lounge doesn’t “fix” and “paint” only hair.

Apparently she’s a jack of all trades lately 💪🏼

Steevi thanks you for these few extra days at home to monitor her through her recovery phase. So far, no symptoms of intestines not healing or foreign body in other parts of her digestive system. A few more days to go before she’s in the clear, but I think she’ll be back to work soon and judging by all the love you’ve shown by checking on her, I know you’re all as happy as we are to hear good news. ♥️

I need your help! 🐾

Ever since we lost Gus, Steevi’s brother, she has been much lonelier (and lazier) at home. I’ve been thinking about getting her a little brother to keep her company and entice play.

BUT…

If she has a buddy at home, she probably won’t be coming to Hair Lounge … and I know a lot of you love seeing her when you come in. 🤍

I’ve been a little quiet over here lately… 🤍

Between buying a house, moving, celebrating both mine and Jacie’s birthdays, and tackling way more DIY projects than I ever imagined, life has been wonderfully busy.

But Hair Lounge has still been my little place of peace in the middle of all the chaos, and I’m so thankful for each of you who’ve continued supporting me while I’ve been settling in.

I’m finally getting back into a routine, and I have some fun things coming that I can’t wait to share with you!

Steevi’s two favorite hockey players are home for summer and spoiling her during their haircut.

And. Let’s talk about the hair color -

Her hair now comes in beautifully white around her face while staying peppered in the back. The white is gorgeous, but she doesn’t love that it 1, is different from the back and 2, feels so bright that she can see her scalp which makes it seem too pink!

She does not want all over color, she wants to enjoy the natural, but doesn’t mind some face framing low lights from time to time.. she figured she has to come for a haircut anyways! 🤓

Our solution 📝

Clarify from existing color residue.
Match her natural pepper and place baby weaved foils through the front halo/face frame!
After shampooing, we use a silver + clear gloss to keep it bright and shiny!

Best part: This color process only adds about 45 minutes to her

6 years ago this week, Hair Lounge opened its doors 🤍

Hair Lounge has grown from a tiny new beginning into a space that reflects the experience I want my clients to have. I’ve changed locations, evolved the atmosphere, built deeper relationships and created a place where women can come not only to feel beautiful, but to feel comfortable, heard, and cared for.

Being independent has given me the freedom to create something intentional - a quiet, one-on-one space filled with trust, laughter, healing conversations, friendship, and creativity. Some of you have sat in my chair since the very beginning, and some of you are brand new, but every single appointment has helped shape Hair Lounge into what it is today.

I’m incredibly grateful for my clients, my supporters, my landlord family who believed in me from day one, and everyone who has encouraged me along the way. This little salon has blessed my life in more ways than I could have imagined.
