I just finished up restringing this necklace for a good friend. It was one I made about 4 years ago. The small Sterling Silver beads were completely tarnished. Most fine jewelry has to he cleaned, restring and sometimes beads need to be replaced. If you have a necklace that needs anything let me know. Back in a day we were polishing our silverware, no difference. If anyone has any of my jewelry and it has tarnished let me know. It is important that we store our jewelry correctly and watch out for contamination.
