Today, we are excited to celebrate a very special occasion - Happy Birthday to Shenee, the owner of Infinite Peace Massage!

A little about the birthday girl.. Shenee is a born native of Greenville, South Carolina. She is a Licensed Massage Therapist and Esthetician, practicing since 2018.
She's a mother of 2 of the best kiddos, Jaida who is 16 and Camron who is 9.

As you may know, Shenee finds joy in everything related to wellness, the body and mind, nature, being near water, and the great outdoors. She has found an amazing gift in receiving messages from nature and finding ways we can apply those lessons in our daily journeys through life. She enjoys using her creativity and authenticity in bringing those messages out for the eyes and ears it reaches.

Shenee loves being able to form meaningful connections with everyone who walks into her door and is deeply appreciative of the opportunities she has had in building the Infinite Peace family and helping others come to find peace within, amid their day to day lives.

Fun Facts:

**Red Birds (Cardinals) have significant meaning to her. When you see one, blow 3 kisses at it. Shenee likes to believe the presence of these birds indicate a passed on loved one letting her know that they are there with her.

**The name Infinite Peace was not an easy name to come by, but when the name struck her, she received confirmation hours later in the form of 2 earrings sitting in plain sight. One with the infinity symbol and the other a peace symbol. How insanely cool is that?!

**She plans to host a Peace Retreat in Costa Rico one day! Stay tuned!!!! She's got a lot of work to do but she knows it is part of the plan and will work diligently to pull it together... at the right time of course ; )

In honor of her special day, we invite you to join us in sending warm wishes and positive energy her way.

Thank you for being a part of our family. We look forward to continuing to provide you with exceptional wellness, relaxation, and peaceful experiences.

Warm Regards

How often do we miss the moment in search for the next one? Its easy to do. We’re at work, counting down the hours and minutes until we get home. Perhaps sitting in traffic, feeling anxious to get to our destination… (and often muttering words of agitation to the drivers around us.) Maybe wishing we could get past these terrible two’s or sassy sixteen stages.

Understandably, these are moments that aren’t the most blissful but they ARE still moments of our life that we won’t get back once they’re gone. Finding meaning in the mundane involves recognizing the significance and value in everyday experiences that might seem ordinary, annoying, or even stressful. It often requires a shift in perspective or mindfulness to appreciate the deeper layers of these moments.

Theres many benefits to finding meaning in the mundane, such as a happier mood, clearer thoughts, a grateful attitude, sparks of creativity and inspiration, ability to connect with others, yourself, or nature. Here are some ways to practice and test out this theory:

-Practice mindfulness, being present in the moment and fully engaging in what you’re doing; paying attention to the details and sensations your experience. Ask yourself what is actually happening in that moment.

-Cultivate gratitude for the “small things” in life, like spending time family or making it your destination safely. These seem like small things because it may be common to us… but imagine not having these privileges.

-Reflect on your experience. What lessons or insight can you draw from these mundane activities? Example, being anxious in traffic; I often get curious about mishaps and wonder “what if this traffic is preventing me from danger ahead. I’d rather be IN traffic than the cause of it.”

-Get creative with each moment. We all have 24 hours in a day, and most days are a repeat of the day before, the week before, the month before, etc. Why not have some fun with it?

-Connect with others, yourself, or nature. Use everyday interactions as opportunities to connect. Small conversations and curiosities can lead to meaningful connections.

By embracing these small shifts in perspective, you can uncover a richer, deeper, and m

As we step into the month of May, we are reminded of the importance of mental health awareness and celebrating the special women in our lives for Mother's Day.

In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, we want to emphasize the significance of self-care and relaxation in maintaining overall well-being. Taking care of your mental health is just as crucial as your physical health, and indulging in a massage or facial can be a wonderful way to prioritize self-care and reduce stress.

Additionally, Mother's Day is approaching, and what better way to show appreciation for the mothers, grandmothers, and mother figures in your life than with the gift of relaxation and rejuvenation? Treat them to a luxurious massage or a pampering facial, allowing them to unwind and feel truly cherished.

To celebrate these occasions, we are delighted to offer special packages and discounts throughout the month of May. Whether you're treating yourself or someone you love, we have something special to make this month memorable.

Don't hesitate to reach out to book your appointment or purchase a gift certificate. Let's make May a month of relaxation, appreciation, and mental wellness.

Massage Therapy has been associated with an enhanced quality of sleep. But one may wonder, how is this made possible?

The physical manipulation of tissues during massage, combined with the therapist's touch and the calming environment, signals to the body that it is time to relax.

During massage the Parasympathetic Nervous System is stimulated, promoting a "rest and digest" response.
This is in contrast to our Sympathetic Nervous System where our "fight or flight" responses arise.

The PNS acts like a brake and is an automatic reaction that happens in your body when you feel safe and calm.
When this system is stimulated, our heart rate slows, breathing slows, digestion is stimulated...hence "rest and digest".

In addition, massage is significant in its ability to promote the release of serotonin and dopamine...considered the “happy hormones,” as they both play a role in positive mood and emotion.
Serotonin is also linked to the production of melatonin which is responsible for our sleep/wake cycle.

While massage is not a substitute for addressing underlying sleep disorders, integrating Massage Therapy into your wellness routine can be beneficial in enabling relaxation and making it easier to transition into a restful sleep.
