From faded DIY split dye to a rich jewel-toned dream 💜✨

This 7-hour transformation was SUCH a fun one!
The client came in with grown-out box black + red color from a previous at-home split dye and trusted Hilary to create something bold, dimensional, and graduation ready 🎓

She used a full head balayage approach to break through old color, followed by a deep eggplant purple root smudge and a custom blend of vivid jewel purple tones for the ultimate glossy finish 💎

The result? A vibrant, multidimensional purple that catches the light beautifully and gives major main-character energy 💜🔥

Sometimes rules are meant to be broken… and tonight is one of those nights ✨

Typically our last color appointment starts between 4–6pm so we can wrap up by 8–9pm. But tonight, we’re breaking the rules a little. 💜

A sweet client walked in wanting to celebrate graduating college with some hair magic before stepping into the mental health field. We know how important that work is, and we couldn’t say no to helping her celebrate this exciting new chapter! The stars aligned when Hilary had a last-minute opening, and the purple transformation officially began at 5:00pm. 🎨✨

The game plan:

And because late-night color sessions call for extra energy… Hilary whipped up a Dirty Diet Coke from our beverage bar:
