Yesterday we lost a legend. 💗

I have always loved Dolly — her music, her humor, her larger-than-life personality, her incredible business sense, and maybe most of all, her purpose.

She came from very little and built an extraordinary life, but what I admire is how much she gave back along the way. She created jobs, helped communities through devastating disasters, put books into the hands of millions of children, and used her success to make life a little better for other people.

And through all the fame, rhinestones and success, she shared nearly 60 years with the man she loved. There is something pretty remarkable about that, too.

What a career. What a life. What a legacy.

My thoughts are with her family and everyone who loved her.

Thank you, Dolly. You were truly one of a kind. 💗
