“i’m a new jersey native who recently made south carolina my new home. my journey into the hair industry began while I was searching for a career that combined art, creativity, and something meaningful.

i’m passionate about continuing to grow, staying current with modern styles, learning through others, and advanced education. for me, a great haircut starts with truly understanding the person in the chair and creating a look that feels intentional and personal.

outside the chair, i enjoy spending time with my wife and son, staying active, and practicing latte art. sundays are usually for church, family, and resetting for the week ahead.”

WHAT IS TEXTURE CREAM?

why do we use the term "precision haircutting"?

it was developed by sassoon in the 50s so your hair will:

in the 1950s, VIDAL SASSOON opened his first salon in london. at that time, intensely styled up-dos were all the rage (remember the beehive?). they required weekly visits to the hairdresser who would use a variety of secrets and wizardry to create and maintain these styles.

the haircut didn't matter because styling was everything.

SASSOON saw a better future - one where people could have hair that styled effortlessly. so, he set out on a path of perfecting his technique and building a system of haircutting.

inspired by the geometric approach of BAUHAUS architects, SASSOON incorporated their philosophy into his curriculum. he trained his staff using these methods, resulting in unique and innovative haircuts. his philosophy was that hair should be a material in motion, and that it shouldn't have to be excessively styled. ideally, one should be able to wet their hair, shake it out, let it air dry, and look amazing.

SASSOON developed precision hair cutting as a way to achieve these geometric shapes. the ultimate goal of the method is to create shapes that are easy to style and naturally fall into place.
