Manual Lymphatic Drainage (Vodder Technique) is a slow, soft, π±π³π¦π€πͺπ΄π¦ technique.Β
The goal is to assist the flow of lymphatic drainage to and through the lymph nodes by using exact hand placement and maneuver.Β
The lymph nodes are the clearing house for waste that your body is processing, either from an intense workout, an inflammatory or autoimmune condition, allergies, having a surgery done, or just general existence. Our cells are hard at work 24/7, and sometimes our lymph nodes can use some assistance processing out that waste.
Benefits of lymphatic drainage include~ reduction of swelling, ease of seasonal allergies, it can promote recovery after surgery, provides pain reduction for inflammatory conditions, and brings over-all well being/calming of the nervous system.Β
Kate books out quite a few weeks, but it's so worth it! Be sure to plan ahead and get yourself booked into amanual lymphatic drainage routine!
