SKIИSKI® didn’t happen overnight.

And neither did the woman who built it.

My life has never been a straight line. I’ve had to leave, rebuild, sacrifice, start over, and find parts of myself again more than once.

I lost my mom at 10. I ran away to go to college. I became a chemist. Then life changed.

I left my career, got married, faced struggles I never planned for, and raised three beautiful daughters. There were years when parts of who I was had to wait.

But they never disappeared.

The chemist was still there.
The dreamer was still there.
The woman willing to take a risk was still there.

I reinvented myself. I opened my own spa. And eventually, I found my way back to skincare, science, and an idea I couldn’t let go of.

In 2025, that idea became a product—and I put it through a clinical trial because the chemist in me needed more than an idea. I wanted evidence.

In 2026 came a different challenge: building awareness and getting people to see and believe in what I had built.

That’s the part of success we don’t always see.

Life isn’t always linear.

Sometimes the things you think you’ve left behind are quietly preparing you for what comes next.

The chemist helped build the founder.
The mother taught her resilience.
The struggles taught her how to keep going.
The spa owner brought her back to skincare.

And every version of me helped build the woman I am today.

So when you see SKIИSKI®, you’re not looking at something that happened overnight.

You’re looking at decades of becoming.

Every detour. Every sacrifice. Every restart. Every version of me led here.

what it really took to get here 👇 Behind every bottle is a story you don’t always get to see. Life didn’t look like this in 2020. There was a time when I couldn’t see what the next chapter would look like. But sometimes the hardest seasons force you to look at everything you know, everything you’ve lived, and ask yourself what you’re going to do with it. I went back to what I knew. 🧪 More than 20 years after becoming a chemist, I took that knowledge and began creating my own skincare formula. Beakers, ingredients, mixing, testing, adjusting, starting over — until what was in my head started becoming real. I kept going when it would have been easier to stop. Creating a product takes more than a good idea. There are setbacks, changes, long days, decisions no one sees and moments when you question whether it will all come together. I never gave up on what I believed this product could become. The formula became a bottle. 🤍 Watching something I created go from chemistry in a beaker to bottles being produced — and finally holding that finished product — is a feeling that’s hard to put into words. Then the product became about more than me. Doctors, trial participants, customers and people who believed in what I was creating became part of the journey. That’s when SKIИSKI® became more than something I had formulated. It became skincare created for real people to make part of their own routines. And we’re still building. ✨ One product became two. SKIИSKI® became officially registered with the USPTO. And the idea I refused to give up on became the brand and products you see today. From a difficult chapter in 2020, to a chemist returning to her craft, to creating a formula, building the products and putting them into the hands of others… Six years of work went into what you now see in one bottle. I was eight years old in that first photo with my mom. I didn’t know our time together was running out. Two years later, she was gone—and I was a 10-year-old girl with no idea where I belonged or how I was supposed to move forward. But somehow, I did. I kept going. I found chemistry. I became a student, a teacher, a chemist, a corporate professional—and eventually, a mother myself. For a while, I stepped away from the career I had built to raise my children. But the chemist in me never disappeared. She was still there. And eventually, I realized something: Chemistry wasn’t just something I was good at. It was my superpower. The little girl who once felt lost had spent her whole life becoming the woman she needed to be. That journey became SKIИSKI®. I can’t change what happened to that little girl. But I can decide what she does with the strength she had to find far too young. So I’m using mine to create. To innovate. To help people. To build something meaningful that leaves the world a little better than I found it. And most of all, to build something my mom would be proud of. I wasn’t lost. I was becoming.
