“Did it pop?” 👀
Odds are, you'll get some "pops" during your adjustment. And they can definitely be satisfying, but the goal of an adjustment is to improve motion and mobility in a joint that isn’t moving the way it should.
A chiropractic adjustment uses a specific force and trajectory directed into a specific joint to help restore that motion. The "pop" itself is simply gas being released within the joint along with a temporary release of pressure - it's not what creates the actual change!

Headaches can be debilitating, and I know that firsthand. I also know how much chiropractic can help.
I experienced severe headaches almost daily as a kid, and they only got worse as I got older. By the time I was in chiropractic school, I would leave for the day in tears because I was in so much pain. I tried so many things throughout my life, but the relief never lasted.
It turns out the answer had been sitting right in front of me. Once I began receiving consistent chiropractic care, the headaches that had controlled so much of my life became few and far between.
That experience is a huge part of why I’m here. I don’t want people to spend years suffering, guessing, and working through the same frustrating trial and error that I did. I want patients to better understand what may be contributing to their headaches and to help them find relief.
