The goal isn’t to use more products—it’s to use the right products.
Not every product is meant for every person. What works for someone else may not work for you.
Choose wisely.
Be consistent.
Give products time to work.
Healthy skin is built through habits, not hype.

Dark areas on the body are common, especially in areas where there’s friction, shaving, sweating, or irritation.
For the most part it’s normal.
Can it be treated? Yes.
What can help:
Glycolic Acid
Helps gently exfoliate dead skin cells, smooth texture, and brighten the appearance of uneven tone over time.
Regular Exfoliation
Using exfoliating gloves 1–2x weekly can help remove buildup, but don’t scrub too hard. Irritation can make darkness worse.
Brightening Agents
Look for ingredients like niacinamide, kojic acid, alpha arbutin, licorice root, turmeric, and tranexamic acid to support a more even tone.
Reminder:
Dark spots don’t fade overnight. Be consistent, moisturize, reduce friction, and avoid harsh scrubbing.

Your gut and your skin are closely connected through what’s often called the “gut-skin axis.” When your gut is balanced and healthy, it can help support clearer, calmer skin. When it’s not, it may contribute to inflammation that shows up on your face and body.
