The Bible tells us our hearts have a way of wandering… Growing stubborn, or rebellious or hard. Like ground in which nothing can grow, but God, and his mercy, loves us far too much to leave us in that miserable condition.

Last year at the Renew Salon and Boutique Christmas Party, Christina, gave everyone their own copy of Candace Cameron Bure’s book: One Step Closer : Rise and Renew. Somedays can be hard in the salon, but God calls us to rise and renew. We thought we would share some of this book with you, our clients and friends.

Coming in the salon and leaving the salon feeling renewed and refreshed is like running back into the arms of the Lord. Colossians 3:10 describes this new nature as a fresh new you, which is continually renewed in knowledge according to the image of the one who created you.
