Long overdue post incoming… 💛

It should’ve been confirmed a while ago but I think part of me hasn’t been ready to let this chapter of my life go. I’ve always known I wanted to be a mama, and I knew I wanted to either work part time and be a mama or someday stay at home and raise the babies God gave me.

It has come to be that the latter has been in my cards all along 😌 stay at home mama hood is my next chapter.

7 years of working in the salon, late late nights, early early mornings, books unbelievably stuffed thanks to my amazing clients, to forcing myself to not skip a lunch break even if it’s only 15 minutes, going from bridal makeup to sugaring to more weddings to lashes to brows…

I’ve met countless clients that turned into friends, met my own wedding photographer through a wedding I worked, put a lot of miles on my car driving hours and hours to get to weddings to help women look and feel their best on their big day… I saw more than one friend get married and had the honor of doing their makeup the morning of. Walked through infertility, marriage, divorce, babies, moving, job changes, graduations, death and loss, you name it with clients.

And the time has come for that chapter to close. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU from the very, very bottom of my heart for your support and loyalty over the years.

As of right now, my last day of work before baby girl’s arrival is going to be Wednesday, April 13 (unless little miss decides to make a very early entrance, which I’m not optimistic of) 👶🏻 this means I only have about F I V E weeks left of work! I do have some openings between now and then if you’d like to get in for any services before I’m out on leave. When a client reaches out wanting the fluffiness you get from volume, with the everyday wearability of classics, but got extensions in the past that overpower their eyes - ¡voila! Hybrids with a 6mm inner corner and the longest length being 10mm. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Another lash lift pic because I am so proud of this one 🥲 here’s why: these outer corner lashes on both eyes curl so tightly naturally that with a more hooded eyelid like this, they’d curl back underneath the eyelid. Not only is that uncomfy, annoying, hard to correct on your own with just mascara or a lash curler, but it also gives the illusion that the lashes are much shorter than they actually are.

With this lift, rather than trying to get that sky high lift or tight curl to correct straight lashes, I had to work to almost relax those outer corners and make them come out from underneath the eyelid and flatter this client (who just so happens to be my mama 💖) and help her achieve her beauty goals 🙌🏻
