WHY IS MY HAIR SO FRIZZY?! 😩

Here’s the thing… frizz isn’t a hair type. It’s your hair trying to tell you something.

Frizz happens when the outer layer of the hair (the cuticle) isn’t lying smooth. When that cuticle is raised, moisture from the air can get into the hair shaft, causing it to swell and lose that smooth, polished look.

So what makes that happen?

✨ Dryness — thirsty hair will grab moisture wherever it can find it… hello, humidity.

🔥 Heat damage — too much heat or skipping heat protection can rough up the cuticle.

🎨 Chemical services — lightening and coloring can make hair more porous, which means it absorbs moisture more easily.

🚿 Your hair routine — overwashing, harsh shampoos, rough towel drying and even brushing incorrectly can contribute to frizz.

🌧️ Humidity — the more porous your hair is, the more likely it is to react when there’s moisture in the air.

In reality….it can be a combo of all of these.

And here’s the part people miss: you don’t necessarily need MORE product to control frizz. You need the RIGHT care for your hair’s condition and porosity.

Healthy, hydrated hair + a smoother cuticle = less frizz, more shine and much easier styling. 🤍
