We’re looking for the right addition to join our team. I am the new owner of The Hairworks Salon and Spa located in the historic downtown of Grove City. (Our name will be changing soon to Hair Magic Salon) I have recently given the salon lots of updates with more on the way but I'm ready to add 1 full-time hairstylist, or 2 part-time hairstylists who would share a station/chair.

I am looking for independent beauty professionals who value creativity, professionalism, collaboration, and creating an exceptional experience for their guests.

This opportunity is ideal for an established stylist who is self-motivated, takes pride in their work, and is excited to join a team that values mutual respect, kindness, and being part of a relaxation-inspired space centered around connection and harmony.

Before and After Salon Transformation!

Here is the last of our Before and After's for a little while as we redirect our focus to building a wellness room in the salon. It feels good to have so much of the salon finished and to be able to relax somewhat on working on the space with every extra spare moment we had. I did just order some wall art for the bathroom to finish off that space. I would love to know what you think of all the updates!

Here's more Before and After's of the salon. We had a plumber come out today that worked hard all day to get everything done in one day, so we can be back open tomorrow. He did awesome work and was decently priced. I highly recommend Nate’s Great Plumbing for any of your plumbing needs!

Here are Before and After's of everything we have been able to get done in the salon so far. We have been working like crazy to see my vision start to come to life. I am so thankful for my husband being able to help me with the salon while he has been laid off from work. He did just accept a job offer though, so I have his full attention for almost 3 more weeks to get as much done as we can in that time. It has definitely been a wild year with my husband getting laid off right as I purchased my own salon but we're making it happen! Teamwork makes the dream work!

Today was my first day working in the salon as a salon owner! Here's everything we were able to get done since the last update post. Both bathroom doors and trim have been painted with new hardware and door k***s. I've got 2 of my 3 towel cabinets built and put up. The 3rd one arrived broken and I'm waiting on the replacement. We got 4 stations built and mounted the mirrors for them. I received 1 salon chair earlier than the rest, so I've got mine already set up. We also got a new waiting area bench set up too. I was able to start the day in my new station on the freshly painted wall and my first client even brought me a beautiful gift to welcome me to the new space. It was a great day!

Salon ownership days 3 and 4.
We got 2 coats of paint on 2 of the salon walls and 3 walls in the bathroom. Painted the doors and door trim white too. New cabinet in the bathroom and the client snack bar is stocked and ready. We also put flowers in a new planter out front to welcome clients as they come in.

Day 1 and 2 of salon ownership.
Day 1: We removed all the stations and decor from 2 of the main walls in the salon and built our new front desk.
Day 2: Mudding and sanding all the holes in the 2 salon walls and 3 of the bathroom walls. Prepping for paint.
We're breaking up the mudding and painting into 4 sections. This is the first section we're working on to get the new stations set up. We were able to give away the first 4 stations to 2 different people, so they're out of our way. Stay tuned for more updates!

I know I haven't posted much on my hair page recently. I have been so busy with my other business that I just haven't had time. My hair schedule stays pretty full, so advertising my work hasn't been a priority but I just wanted to let everyone know I'm still here slaying away.
