🍂 What happens to your skin when the seasons change?

1. Your skin barrier gets stressed.
Going from warm, humid air to cooler, drier air can pull moisture from the skin. Your barrier may become more fragile, leading to dryness, tightness, flaking and sensitivity.

2. Your oil production can change.
Your skin may produce less oil in cooler weather, while indoor heating can make dehydration worse. Some people actually become both dry AND oily because the skin is trying to compensate.

3. Dead skin cells can build up.
When skin becomes dry and sluggish, dead cells don’t shed as efficiently. Hello, dullness, rough texture and clogged pores.

4. Sensitivity can increase.
Wind, temperature changes, indoor heat and lower humidity can make skin more reactive. Products that were perfectly comfortable in summer may suddenly sting or feel too strong.

5. Breakouts can still happen.
Dry skin doesn’t mean you’re immune to acne. Dehydration + excess dead skin + heavier products can create the perfect little traffic jam in your pores. 🚧😂

6. Your lips and delicate areas feel it first.
Lips, around the nose, cheeks and under-eye area tend to show seasonal dryness quickly because those areas have less natural protection.
