Maybe it’s the hair. Maybe it’s the lighting. Maybe I finally held my phone at the right angle. Either way, I’m obsessed with this one. ✨

Everybody loves the before-and-after.

What nobody talks about is the middle.

When Sandy first came to me, her hair had been over-processed and over-toned with permanent color from a previous gray blending attempt. I had to have the hard conversation: this wasn’t going to happen in one appointment.

So we slowed down.

Appointment after appointment, we prioritized the health of her hair and made decisions based on what her hair could handle—not what would make the fastest Instagram transformation.

Less than six months later, we arrived at the vision we’d been working toward.

I wish I had a photo of where we started, because honestly, the biggest transformation isn’t the color. It’s the integrity of the hair.

Good gray blending isn’t just about making gray beautiful. It’s about getting there without sacrificing the hair along the way.

I’m no Jack Martin, but helping someone embrace their natural gray in a way that feels beautiful, intentional, and truly theirs will always be one of my favorite transformations. 🤍
